Ingredients:
For the Shells & Filling:
20 jumbo pasta shells
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 lb cooked shrimp, chopped
1/2 lb lump crab meat (drained well)
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper to taste
Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
For Topping:
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Preheat Oven & Cook Shells:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the jumbo shells until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.Prepare the Filling:
In a large bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, egg, chopped parsley, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes, allowing the sauce to slightly thicken. Remove from heat.Assemble the Dish:
Spread 1/2 cup of the Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Stuff each cooked shell with 1–2 tablespoons of the seafood filling and arrange the stuffed shells in the dish.Top and Bake:
Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the stuffed shells. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then, uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden.Garnish & Serve:
