Cream Cheese Stuffed Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients:
For the Chicken:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 oz (113g) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Breading:

1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
For the Sauce & Topping:

1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish and set aside.

Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Stuff the Chicken:
Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket, being careful not to cut all the way through. Stuff each pocket with the cream cheese mixture and press gently to seal.

Bread the Chicken:

Place the flour in one shallow dish.
Beat the eggs in another dish.
In a third dish, mix the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, and paprika.
Dredge each stuffed chicken breast in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Bake the Chicken:
Place the breaded chicken in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).

Add Sauce & Cheese:
Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each piece. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan.

Final Bake:
Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve & Enjoy:
