Ingredients:
For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites:
1 ½ pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Creamy Alfredo Tortellini:
1 (20-ounce) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: Fresh spinach or peas for added texture and color
Directions:
Prepare the Tortellini:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook according to package directions (usually 3–5 minutes). Drain and set aside.
Sear the Steak Bites:
Season the steak cubes generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak in a single layer (do this in batches if needed) and sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove steak bites and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant. Return steak bites to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter. Turn off heat and set aside.
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:
In a separate pan, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Mix in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook, stirring often, until sauce thickens (about 5–6 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
Combine & Serve:
Add cooked tortellini to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat. Serve immediately with garlic butter steak bites on the side or arranged on top. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
